Hair Tips

Brushes

1. Natural Bristle brushes (Boar Hair) are least
 damaging to the hair.

2. For thick hair, use a brush that combines natural
 and synthetic bristles.

3. For curly hair, bristles should be closely spaced and
the bristles should be synthetic for maximum control.

4. A flat brush is best for everyday maintenance and to
 smooth and detangle hair.

5. Round brushes add volume and straighten hair while
 blow drying.

6. Vent brushes are good if you're in a hurry, because
they enable air from the dryer to circulate through the
brush and the hair, making it dry faster.

7. Do not use anybody else's brush.

8. Watch what brushes your Stylist uses to create your
Style. Don't be afraid to ask Stylist how to use the brush
and what type they are using.

9. Remember that deal  "if you brush your hair  a
hundred times it will be smooth as silk". Forget
about that, most people have incorrect brushes,
and stress the hair by pulling to hard, causing
breakage.

10. Do not brush hair before a chemical service and
do not brush if scalp is irritated.
